  5.        Howdy! It's me, Anthony Whitaker, back with yet another
  6. new animated adventure starring the most vicious cat in the
  7. world - Charley Cat.
  8.  
  9.        He made his debut in OUT IN PUBLIC, got sand in his toes
  10. in DOWN AT THE SEA, had bird problems in HOW TO CATCH A CANARY,
  11. and also fought rampaging rodents in MOUSTERMIND.
  12.        Now, in this, his fifth adventure, he has decided to have
  13. some fun in the snow, with laughs on skis and skates. He has
  14. also taken his girlfriend Alyson to be his skating partner. But
  15. they are not alone... For Charley's arch-enemy, Tiger, fresh
  16. with pranks since he muscled in on them in my first two anims,
  17. is back with a vengeance!

  19.        And that's all I'll say about the story. You'll need 2Mb
  20. to run the cartoon, and two drives are advised though not com-
  21. pulsory (keeps disk-swapping to a minimum).

  23. WARNING: Although the animation itself is PD (which means that
  24. it may be freely distributed provided that nothing is changed
  25. or left off the copy), the characters themselves are copyright
  26. and may not be used under any circumstances without my permis-
  27. sion. Doing so is a criminal offence.

  29.        This has to be my most atmospheric cartoon so far. For
  30. example, when high up in the mountains, you can hear wind in
  31. the background. And this is my first animation to have music
  32. in it, courtesy of my keyboard.

  34.        I myself am 19, I own an Amiga 500 with 5Mb of RAM, an
  35. external drive, and a TechnoSound Turbo sound sampler (brand
  36. new at the time; I bought it at the Future Entertainment Show
  37. in November 1992). I have Kickstart 1.3 and no hard drive.
  38.        I am currently working on two storyboards (at the time
  39. I wrote this) for my next two anims: GI Spy (a spy animation)
  40. and CHARLEY CAT VI: AT THE FLIX! (more feline frippery)
